Your Dream Car(s)
Soft...I don't believe they make a hardtop unless you go with the coupe.

My parents used to have a z3 about a year ago.
There is a lot of road noise with that car, but that usually goes for all soft tops.

Re: Your Dream Car(s)
Test drove a 2004 Z4 2.5i today. Goddamn...what a nice car! The throaty-ness of the engine and exhaust made me cream my pants. Everyone I drove past turned their head. That's fucking awesome!
The bad part is that the place I went to would only give me $6,000 for my G6. I'm gonna keep looking at other dealers and see what they offer me. The guy at the dealer I went to today told me to go to Carmax if I wanted more money.
Blue book for my G6
Excellent: $13,040
Good: $12,315
Fair: $11,140

Re: Your Dream Car(s)
Went to Carmax to see if I could get a better price for my car. Guess what...they gave $6000.
WTF...
BUT, while I was there I test drove a 2004 Audi TT w/ turbo. Nice car! Love the sounds. The convertible top was manually operated though, which was the only downside. The Z4's top is all electronically operated. It opens in like 10 seconds!

Re: Your Dream Car(s)
That z4 is nice and it doesn't look like it was a 2004 from the pic.
Re: Your Dream Car(s)
audi TT is probably a nice car but i'd go with the Z4 any day. trading in your car is always a waste... $6k seems a little low but i wouldnt expect more than 8. you could probably talk them into better financing or better trade-in-value if you show them you're ready to buy. get a quote from carmax for the audi with trade in and take it to the 1st place and show them. then tell them you want the Z4 more but the numbers arent working for you
